Brownie Recipe

I found this very basic brownie recipe on Facebook and tested it out. They are pretty good, but keep in mind that it does make a small batch, so if you are using a deep pan or large pan you may want to double it for thicker brownies. But overall they tasted just like I had made them from the storebought mix and they are suppose to be cheaper to make. So here it is, and next time I make a batch I will post a picture.
This is the original recipe that I found. You may want to edit it or adjust to suit your tastes. I found that mine were a little flat. You can mix the dry ingredients and then store it in a ziploc bag or mason jar until use.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Mix. Grease 8×8 or 9×9 pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake for 15-25 minutes depending on pan and oven. Check after 12-15 minutes.
